Long Island Office Hosts Open House
06/09/2010
On May 13, GES' Long Island (NY) office welcomed GES corporate, clients, and subcontractors to their new facility in Hauppauge. The Long Island team has expanded over the past two years, increasing staff as the portfolio has grown. On hand to celebrate were GES CEO Tony Kull and President Ed Van Woudenberg. After a meet-and-greet and luncheon, all gathered outside for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the office opening.
Heather Cloud was promoted to site operations manager of the Long Island office in February. Joining GES 8 years ago, Heather began as junior environmental scientist in our Ohio office. In her new role, she is managing office staff, overseeing financials, developing new and current customer relationships, managing productivity, diversification, profit and loss, and developing strategies for opportunities – just to name a few of her daily activities. Mike Maegerle, senior site operations manager for GES' downstate NY offices, shared, “The recent growth in project work in the Long Island and NYC areas is reflective of Heather’s superior client service and project management skills. With Heather’s continued leadership, I anticipate further success for the LI Team.”
