How is GES Transitioning to AAI?

11/01/2006

The US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA)'s All Appropriate Inquiries rule (AAI) takes effect today, November 1, 2006. This rule provides specific regulatory requirements for conducting Phase I environmental site assessments.

How is GES transitioning to AAI?

GES has been conducting Phase I environmental site assessments under the ASTM E 1527-05 standard for more than a year. With GES’ increasing volume of Phase I work for major clients, it has necessitated a fresh look at GES’ Phase I product offering. GES has formed a task force of experienced technical and legal professionals. The task force’s goals are to (1) ensure that GES clients receive a consistent, quality product at a competitive price, in accordance with AAI; (2) minimize the liabilities associated with such services; and (3) provide GES employees with appropriate training and guidance.
