Heather Pettus Joins GES as Baton Rouge Office Lead

Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES), a national environmental consulting firm, is proud to announce the hiring of Heather Pettus as a Senior Project Manager. Heather will serve as the office lead for the Baton Rouge, Louisiana office, adding her technical, regulatory, and project management skills to a growing portfolio of GES managed sites in the region. 

Heather has nearly 15 years of direct industry experience as both an environmental consultant and an employee at the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ). She specializes in the management of environmental remediation and compliance programs, including site investigation, risk assessment, corrective action, cost control, and site closure. Heather’s project experience spans a number of industry settings throughout the southeast United States. She has in-depth knowledge of the Risk Evaluation/Corrective Action Program regulation as well as technical issues related to UST/LUST sites.

Heather received a Master of Science in Animal, Dairy, and Poultry Science from Louisiana State University and A&M College. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Louisiana Tech University.
