Field Services

GES’ technical expertise in the field sets us apart from other consulting firms. Nearly 80% of our technical staff members—technicians, engineers, hydrogeologists, and environmental scientists—work in the field. We self-perform sampling and monitoring services, system operation, maintenance and monitoring (OM&M), feasibility testing, chemical injection, and subsurface investigation oversight activities while strictly adhering to GES’ health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) and Loss Prevention Systems (LPS) programs.

The ability and commitment to self-perform technical field services provides a much greater degree of safety, management, quality assurance, efficiency, and overall value returned to our clients.

We focus on:

Efficiency: We use the right resources for each job. Highly competitive pricing structures leverage the cost efficiencies gained from our standard practices and extensive volume of work.

Quality: We provide every employee with consistent job-focused training, an understanding of GES protocols and client requirements, and the appropriate tools and controls to ensure that the data collected and services provided meet or exceed regulatory and client criteria.

Performance: Field services are integrated with our environmental engineering program, ensuring an attention to system performance, optimization opportunities, and evaluation of ongoing technology effectiveness.

Creativity: Our practical approach fosters proactive consideration of alternative approaches to achieve site exit goals. An empowered staff contributes evaluation, creative thinking, and an understanding of client objectives and technical and regulatory requirements.

Safety: Our goal is to achieve zero workplace injuries. As a company that prides itself on a hands-on approach to consulting and self-performance of technical field services, GES is focused on achieving our clients’ goals, safely—with a commitment to HSSE and the use of our licensed LPS behavioral management system to ensure that every GES employee and subcontractor returns home safely every day.
