Andrea Taylorson-Collins is GES’ Director of Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas Sector which is comprised of approximately 52 oil and gas companies (representing approximately 30% of GES’ net fees). The upstream businesses manage finding, augmenting, producing, and distributing diverse types of oil and gas products. Andrea’s exceptional management, communication, and business development skills have enabled her to succeed in this high profile and demanding position. Since being promoted to sector lead, she has remained laser focused on client satisfaction, strategy, and business development activities, enlisting the support of Business Development and the Program Managers in her sectors. She manages existing client relationships through frequent facetime meetings, events and outings. In search of new clients, she also attends all Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas Sector conferences and follows up with meetings and post-event action items.
Andrea joined GES in 2005 as an environmental scientist with over 22 years of environmental experience, including 19 years of experience in project management, program management, due diligence, remedial investigations, rapid response, installing and operating remediation systems, and regulatory negotiations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland and Master of Science in Environmental Science from Towson University and Coimbra University, Portugal, respectively. She is also a certified Assessor in Washington DC, and a Certified Potable Water Sampler credentialed in Maryland.
