GES’ President and Chief Operating Officer is Ann Holmes, a leader with a tremendous work ethic, foresight, and conviction. As President, Ann ensures that projects and programs are appropriately staffed, profitable, and achieve the highest level of client satisfaction. As COO, Ann focuses on making sure GES has the right organizational structure, processes, and systems in place to support and drive outstanding client results.
Ann recognized early on that by having the right company structure and sound management systems in place, GES would be well prepared to provide exceptional service to our clients and meet the career needs of our staff within the ever-changing environmental industry. She led many changes within the company including: reorganizing GES’ operations into four regions and Puerto Rico; regionalizing engineering services; centralizing administration and training, implementing consistent work processes companywide; and adding several strategic hires.
Ann earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and joined GES in 1995. Ann quickly emerged as a leader at GES, building on strong client relationships and a drive towards process improvement. She is a member of GES’ Board of Directors and Advisory Council which monitors business performance and shapes business initiatives and growth strategies. Ann also heads GES’ retail gas sector, supporting client program managers in the development of business plans and strategies for many of GES’ longest standing clients.
