GES is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2021-22 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Scholarship. GES' CSR scholarship program was established in 2007 with the goal of rewarding the outstanding academic achievements and community service displayed by children of GES employees across the company. 

Each year a committee comprised of GES employees review and scores the student applications. The three highest scoring applications are awarded scholarships. Our three winners each received a $2,000 scholarship towards their tuition in the 2021-2022 academic year.

As an active member of the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC), GES can assist your company develop, implement, and attain WHC Conservation Certification for a wildlife conservation project for one of your properties or remediation projects. A wide range of projects that benefit the natural community (think habitat, species, educational, green remediation and infrastructure) are eligible for certification. 

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Division of Water Quality, is requiring NJPDES Category B (Industrial) permittees as well as Wastewater Treatment Plants with approved Industrial Pretreatment Programs permittees to evaluate potential sources of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in their influent and comply with an online survey. If you are a permittee under either scenario, this request is designed to profile your current and past practices that may be PFAS sources.

The Environmental Business Journal® (EBJ), a business research publication which has provided strategic business intelligence to the environmental industry since 1988, recently honored Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) with two 2020 EBJ Business Achievement Awards for Earth Movement Monitoring, under the Category of New Practice Area, and for Technology Merit for our Mobile PFAS Treatment System. These awards were presented at a virtual Zoom ceremony on February 11 and 12, 2021. Brief summaries of our award submittals are provide below.
