GES recently hosted a workshop for the Neptune High School Mini-Engineering Academy in New Jersey. Approximately 85 local high schoolers gathered to learn about the different branches within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) industries during the weekly series.


The EPA published the Final Assessment of Benzo(a)pyrene (BaP) in January 2017. This new assessment presents that although benzo(a)pyrene remains carcinogenic, it is less toxic than previously thought. The EPA identifies toxicity values for non-cancer and cancer effects for oral and inhalation pathways in the assessment.
