Joe Skurka has been promoted to Operations Manager for the Great Lakes Region, effective January 5, 2026. With nearly 30 years in environmental consulting and 20 years at GES, Joe has led complex projects, driven client growth, and strengthened collaboration across teams, regulators, and clients. A natural leader, he will now oversee regional operations across Western PA, WV, OH, KY, and support continued regional diversification and service excellence. Heather Kilts, PE has also been promoted to Operations Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region, effective January 5, 2026. A licensed Professional Engineer with 20 years in environmental consulting—and 20 years at GES—Heather brings deep expertise across remediation technologies and has elevated GES through technical leadership, industry presentations, and service innovation. In addition to leading regional operations in PA-E, NJ, and MD, she will continue her role as Regional Engineering Manager while supporting client growth and operational excellence.
